The acting was bad, and the lead actress was absolutely horrendous. Terminus tells the story of David, a small-town American who has a near-fatal accident after coming in contact with a meteorite. It actually ends up being a reverse incubator that preserves a man, a woman and one space artichoke that contains all the DnA for every life form in earth. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this movie, it's a waste of time 4/10. My favorite moments of the film are the somber and softer moments, felt like moments of Upstream Color. Zach (Todd Lasance), a disabled war veteran, asks for work at the mechanics but is knocked back.
Dialogue is so slow, and dramatic pauses are so long, and the plot is so glacial, that it's difficult to keep interested. There were some CGI shots in the film, and they looked jarringly fake.

There is definitely talent behind the scenes and I'm interested where the director goes next. There’s some pretty good surprises along the way and tense moments... I’d recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of movie or has an interest..A low-key sci-fi drama, a throwback to COCOON or CLOSE ENCOUNTERS (without, of course, the budget of a Spielberg or a Ron Howard film). The background is that America is embroiled in an awful war with Iran.
One possible drawback to some is how the depressing the overall mood is at the beginning but that is integral to the story.
