During The Supergirl Saga, Superman was forced to break his one rule and execute three Kryptonian criminals. Meanwhile, Superman struggles with a strange space-organism.Superman rescues an alien space ship fleeing its home planet, then investigates the planet to find it totally lifeless due to the Word-Bringer. This sets up the events leading to one of my favorite arcs of all time, Day of the Krypton Man (collected in the Superman: Eradication! Nothing gets my nerd goosebumps going like continuity , and this awesome omnibus delivers . To make it worse, Superman glows in the dark.
