Bought this laser pointer a while back great laser! If the protective housing is removed, control measures appropriate for the enclosed laser class should be followed. If the laser "dot" is kept motionless on a material for a few seconds at close range, higher-powered Class 3B lasers can cause materials to smolder or burn.
